Hello Reader, Ever have one of those moments where the simplest task suddenly feels impossible? 🤦♀️ Last week, I had my own little “mum moment” that I just had to share with you. Picture this: Dinner time approaching, four hungry children (two excitedly waiting to try their new chopsticks with noodles they’d been requesting all week), and suddenly… the noodles were nowhere to be found! 🔍 My husband and I searched everywhere, eventually giving up and making spaghetti instead. Crisis averted, right? 😅 Well, guess where I found those noodles yesterday? Under the sofa! Turns out our twins had decided they needed a “secret hiding place.” 🙈 To top it up, just this morning at 7 AM, I was on my hands and knees cleaning up dried lentils from the kitchen floor (yes, the twins got to the food drawer again). 🌱 Then I wonder why so many people ask me, “How do you do it with four kids?” 👧👦👦👦 The truth is, until recently, my answer was always, “I don’t know, I just take it day by day.” But I’ve been thinking about why I actually don’t have more meltdowns than I expect, and I’ve brought it down to these 3 things:
I know you’re dealing with your own version of missing noodles and lentil explosions. The beautiful chaos of motherhood doesn’t discriminate based on how many children you have. 💫 This is exactly why I created Krish Yoga Studio: to offer you the same three pillars that keep me sane. Yoga practices that work for your changing body, a supportive community where you’re never alone, and soon, mindset tools to help you navigate this beautiful, messy journey. 🤰👶 No matter how many noodle packets are hidden under your sofa, you’ve got this mama! And more importantly, we’ve got you. ✨ With love, Krish 💖 P.S. Hi Reader, A few weeks ago my eldest two wandered into the bedroom where I was resting. My 6 year old whispered to her younger brother "Shhh, Mama's resting." And then they both walked out. I smiled. And then I nearly cried. Just a year ago, I would have never allowed myself this "luxury" during the day, frantically using every spare minute for chores instead. This is why my conversation with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli touched me so deeply. She explained that our bodies naturally operate in cycles...
